Ground Turkey Chili

Ingredients:

  • olive oil

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves

  • 1 chopped bell pepper

  • 1 lb extra lean ground turkey

  • 4 Tbsp chili powder

  • 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes or crushed tomatoes

  • 1 1/4 cups chicken broth

  • 1 can chili beans

  • s&p to taste

Directions:

  1. in a large pot, heat oil & saute onion.

  2. add ground beef + cook through. Add minced garlic

  3. add remaining ingredients. Cover + cook for 15 minutes

For topping: cheese, avocado, quest chips (or tortilla chips), cilantro, sour cream — I use plain greek yogurt in place of sour cream for less fat + added protein!
