Ground Turkey Chili
Ingredients:
olive oil
1 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves
1 chopped bell pepper
1 lb extra lean ground turkey
4 Tbsp chili powder
1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes or crushed tomatoes
1 1/4 cups chicken broth
1 can chili beans
s&p to taste
Directions:
in a large pot, heat oil & saute onion.
add ground beef + cook through. Add minced garlic
add remaining ingredients. Cover + cook for 15 minutes
For topping: cheese, avocado, quest chips (or tortilla chips), cilantro, sour cream — I use plain greek yogurt in place of sour cream for less fat + added protein!
