Split Sausage + Peppers
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
Chicken sausage, pre-cooked
2 colored peppers, sliced
1 yellow onion, sliced
½ cup Mozzarella Cheese
Salt + pepper
Olive Oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Slice the peppers in half, almost all the way through but keeping it connected.
Cook peppers on stove with a little bit of oil.
Saute peppers and onion with oil, salt, and pepper until soft.
Spray a pan with non-stick spray. Layer chicken sausage (opened up), cooked peppers and onion, and mozzarella cheese in the pan.
Bake for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Serve and enjoy!
