Split Sausage + Peppers

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • Chicken sausage, pre-cooked

  • 2 colored peppers, sliced

  • 1 yellow onion, sliced

  • ½ cup Mozzarella Cheese

  • Salt + pepper

  • Olive Oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Slice the peppers in half, almost all the way through but keeping it connected.

  3. Cook peppers on stove with a little bit of oil.

  4. Saute peppers and onion with oil, salt, and pepper until soft.

  5. Spray a pan with non-stick spray. Layer chicken sausage (opened up), cooked peppers and onion, and mozzarella cheese in the pan.

  6. Bake for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

  7. Serve and enjoy!
